We are delighted to welcome Stacy Kennedy, a Wellesley-based registered dietitian, food and nutrition expert, as our guest instructor to help us explore the diversity of plant-based eating, learn why eating a low-fat, plant-forward diet is important for our bodies, and learn tips & tricks to make it easier to add more plants into your cooking rotation. Remember, you don’t need to become a vegetarian or vegan to improve your well-being, by making simple changes and learning new eating habits you will feel the positive impact, to your bodies, and our planet.
Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD, CSO, LDN, is a nutrition & fitness expert, educator and keynote speaker with 20+ years’ experience helping individuals, companies and professionals with the latest discoveries in nutrition science. Stacy has a B.S. degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Indiana University, a Master’s degree in Public Health from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She’s a Board-Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition, an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Fitness Specialist, adjunct faculty in graduate school of nutrition at Simmons University, professor of clinical nutrition in graduate school of Southwest Naturopathic College, and worked as a Senior Clinical Nutritionist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Affiliate Hospital in Boston, and has Co- Founded her private practice, Wellness Guides and the Cancer Nutrition Training Center.
